Armortex® has the capability to provide precise CNC design and cutting on practically any type of material (mild & hardened steel, non-ferrous metals, composites, stone, etc.). This can be accomplished with our Mazak Fiber Optic Laser or our Flow Waterjet.
Armortex® Fiber Optic Laser cutting is accomplished by using a concentrated beam of light with assist gas (nitrogen & oxygen) to ensure a smooth cutting edge. Laser cutting is one of the fastest ways to cut metal parts.
Armortex® Waterjet cutting is accomplished by using a sophisticated Waterjet System. A waterjet allows for cutting of soft and hard materials using highly pressurized water and an abrasive if required. Precision cutting tolerances are achievable as well as beveled cutting without the associated heat that is prevalent in other types of advanced cutting systems.
