Project Description
Bullet-Resistant Fiberglass Panels
Description
Absolute reliability in high-performance ballistics applications. Armortex® bullet-resistant fiberglass panels are engineered to withstand extreme impacting forces as per Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards 1—8. Our customers define the measure of security they require, and we deliver bullet-resistant fiberglass panels that fit their unique needs.
All our bullet-resistant fiberglass panels are woven in-house, from a roving ballistic-grade fiberglass. This cloth is mechanically injected with a thermoset resin and pressed into flat rigid sheets using a hydraulic hot press. Using this process enables us to maximize the ballistic performance of our fiberglass panels, through proper de-lamination and reliable projectile retention.
